Paschal’s was a must-visit when I was doing my research on food in Atlanta, and I’m glad we came. I had the fried chicken with mac n’ cheese, and candied yams, and I have to say, it was some of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and adding their sport pepper sauce took it to another level. The mac n’ cheese was spot on..it was creamy and flavorful. For dessert, we tried the bread pudding with both the blueberry sauce and the rum sauce. Both were good, but the rum sauce was my favorite. Service was excellent, our server, Janisha, was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. She even sent me home with a cup of sweet tea to go, which was a nice touch. Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in Atlanta.

Paschal's is more than just a restaurant; it's a living piece of Atlanta's history and a true institution for Southern soul food. Stepping inside, you can feel the rich legacy that permeates the space. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, with a vibe that honors its past while offering an elegant dining experience. The food, however, is the main event and it completely blew me away. The legendary fried chicken lived up to its reputation—crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy on the inside. We started with some great appetizer choices like the **catfish tenders** and the unique **collard green dip**, both of which were fantastic. The traditional sides were equally impressive. The **potato salad** was creamy and perfectly seasoned, tasting like something a grandmother would make. The **black-eyed peas** were tender and flavorful, and the **candied yams** were the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Even the **fried okra** was exceptional, crispy and seasoned just right. The most unforgettable part of the night was a surprise visit from a **robot waiter**, which delivered our food right to our table. We were celebrating a birthday, and the look on the birthday man's face when the robot arrived was priceless—it was a truly modern and fun twist to a traditional meal. This unique blend of authentic, high-quality Southern cooking and a touch of futuristic service makes dining at Paschal's a unique and unforgettable experience.

We came to Paschal’s to celebrate my best friend’s mom’s birthday and the service was excellent from start to finish. I had the catfish fingers to start and they were delicious, super crispy and seasoned just right. For my entrée, I ordered the blackened salmon with collard greens and mac n cheese, plus it came with a cornbread muffin. The salmon was okay. It was cooked well done, which I usually don’t mind, but I think if it had come off the heat about 3 minutes earlier it would have been perfect. Flavor-wise it was decent, not bland but not standout either. The collard greens were excellent and full of flavor. The mac n cheese was pretty good but just a little on the dry side. The cornbread muffin was solid. Overall, the food was good with some hits and a few things that could have been better. I would definitely come back for the catfish fingers and the collards, and the great service made the experience even better.

There was a mixup with our reservation, but Bri (sp?) stepped in without hesitation and took EXCELLENT care of us!!! It was my last time visiting Paschal's before relocating and my uncle was visiting from out of town, and this experience was the best I've had. The food, the drinks, the service, and the atmosphere was all top notch. If nothing else, Bri deserves a raise...STAT!!!

Came here for a friend’s bday. Took a while to get seated but I totally understand it was a busy Saturday with lots of bdays so I’m not upset. Comes with the territory. Everyone we encountered was super nice and accommodating. My food was good. I had the 1947 3 pc fried chicken, with collard greens, Mac and yams and a cornbread muffin. Chicken was amazing. Yams were very good, but on the sweeter side. Mac and cheese was pretty good too. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the cornbread muffin…it was flavorful, but dry. Not was I a fan of the collards. They were a bit bitter. I’d definitely come back and try different sides though.

2nd time visit. Friday morning around noon. Located in a plaza. Valet parking. We paid $5. If you have a handicap sticker you can park at the front yourself- avoiding valet. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, blacken salmon with rice and gravy and brussel sprouts, another blackened salmon with fries and brussel sprouts, fried chicken wings with mashed potatoes and gravy and mac and cheese, and fried shrimp with fries and brissel sprouts. Pros We had a party of 8 but they allowed us to split into two tables next to each other with two different servers. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating and well as the servers. However, I did have to tell a server to get our server at one point. Cons The fried green tomatoes are good but the breading is falling apart. My rice and gravy originally came with a hair in it. They replaced it no questions asked. They do not split checks with parties of 6 or more. Not good for big parties. Would I Recommend: Yes. This is a great spot to visit with your family to get some soul food. No loud music, no vulgar language, no hookah, no inappropriate uniforms, just good food and OG Atlanta vibes.
